Our Ingredients

Aloe Vera

is rich in antioxidant, antiviral, and antitumor properties that help to stimulate your immune system. Some studies have shown that it can help to protect you from various diseases like herpes simplex, varicella-zoster, and even influenza.

Aloe Vera has been used for skincare since ancient times due to its moisturizing and anti-aging effect. The inner gel extracted from the aloe leaf is considered as a natural remedy for skin abrasions (NOTE: we only use inner filet gel in our lotion).

The added support of aloe in any skin cream enhances its function as a wrinkle fader and skin rejuvenator. The anti-aging properties of aloe keep your skin fresh and supple.

Coconut Oil

has extraordinary anti-aging and brightening abilities. It acts as an antioxidant that plumps and firms your skin to stimulate cellular activity, fights the effects of aging and repairs rough, damaged tissue.

Coconut Oil is an excellent moisturizer that adds elasticity to skin, and can help slow down the skin’s aging process. It is naturally rich in Vitamins E and F, can help in healing the skin while also blocking the damaging effects of UV radiation.

Vitamin E Oil

contains excellent healing properties for damaged or tired-looking skin. It helps prevent free radical damage that leads to aging skin and can reduce the effects of UVA and UVB radiation from sun exposure.

Vitamin E keeps lipids fresh in your skin and helps to keep its protective barrier intact.

It can help seal up little cracks created in the skin’s barrier that can cause daily moisture to escape and leave it feeling tight and dry.

Marula Oil

has earned nicknames such as “The Elixir of Youth” and “The African Beauty Secret” by South African women who have long been revering this amazing oil for diverse cosmetic applications to naturally soften, nourish and revitalize their skin.

Although not widely known as of yet, Marula oil is quickly gaining popularity for its ability to improve skin elasticity due to high levels of omega-3 oleic and mono-unsaturated acids combined with antioxidants that can  significantly improve skin hydration, softness, and smoothness.

Essential Oils

are the very essence of Mother Nature’s power. As each individual oil has different benefits and properties, we suggest you peruse this very handy All-In-One Essential Oils Guide (Disclaimer: affiliate links) to find what’s right for you.

Everyone is different when it comes to scents. What works for your best friend may not work for you, but if you are new to organic skincare, we recommend to stick to a scent you are familiar with (Lavender, Vanilla, Lemon, etc.). Or, if you are sensitive to smells in general, try our Original Unscented Lotion.
